Community Meal & Outreach Table
Located in Brisbane CBD we recognise that there are many in our local community that are vulnerable and experience food insecurity. In August 2015 Saint Andrew's Uniting Church launched a Saturday Community Meal ministry. Our mission is to provide more than a meal, it was to provide a safe and welcoming space for people to gather around the table and share in a meal and community.
Over time this has extended to include an "Outreach Table" to provide some of the city's most vulnerable with personal essentials and clothing.
We also have some provisions to provide non-perishable foods and meals Monday to Friday during office hours.

Each Saturday Saint Andrew’s provides a freshly cooked 2 course meal as an offering of hospitality and service to all people seeking the sanctuary of a safe space and a place to belong in community.
We respect the dignity and diversity of all guests, extending the love, compassion and grace of Jesus the Christ.
Personal care and hygiene is an important aspect of any persons confidence and self esteem. We recognised that there were a number of people in need of some of the basic essentials and so we responded with the "outreach Table".
The aim is to provide our guests, free of charge, with some personal essentials. Over time this table has grown, referred to by many as "the Shop".
We are now able to offer some items of clothing and shoes as they become available.
Our table relies on the generosity of the congregation members and other donors within the broader community.
Pantry & Meals
Saint Andrew's Pantry offers a range of non perishable foods, Monday to Friday during office hours.
We also hold a stock of frozen meals that we make available as needed and as available Monday to Friday during office hours.
